Yes, it appears like it could be a new weekly record.
There's something about this level of violence in MX which is becoming eerily familiar to similar patterns seen in other countries.

It will not scare away any but the ignorant and fearful. This is a drug gang war and is not directed at tourists. If someone is in the wrong place at the wrong time, then, accidents can happen - just ask anyone carjacked in San Diego's Gaslamp district. Lotsa bodies found, but is is very doubtful they were executed where they were found. They were dumped to deliver a message to their counterparts. Hasn't scared anyone I know of who actually goes into Tijuana, just a lot of wannabe travelers who talk about going, but don't actually get off their counch potato butts to really go.

Let the drug cartels wipe each other out! They seem to be doing a better job at it than the Policia.

The tourists aren't going much anywhere in the US either, given the gas prices. economy and airline hassle. Of course, the Mexican economy is going to contract, just as in the US. The worst ain't over yet. Some economist said once: When the US sneezes, Mexico catches pneumonia.

Drug member killings haven't bothered me or anyone I know but then I haven't woke up to see decapitated bodies laying around either.

Its an every day even now here in Baja. Every morning I read the El Mexicano and see the headlines and now they post how many innocents get killed. A couple days ago a girl hanging out in Rosarito was the latest victim of a stray bullet meant for a cartel member.

They are telling people to stay home at night until things calm down. They even went as far as telling parents not to let their kids Trick or Treat as rumors of a Oct 31 hit has come to light.

Went to my favorite nightclubs last night, Saturday, and they were packed. Looks like locals are ignoring city's 'voluntary curfew'

List of dead bodies, the Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado Baja California, published a list of all the murders in the last few weeks, 128 in total as of Oct. 18.

Two people were murdered in my colonia, Nueva Tijuana. East Tijuana seems to get the bulk of them.
