I have used him quite a bit, his brother is a friend of mine. His work is on par with much higher priced work in the US.

I went to Dr. William (Guillermo) Bartell, 1129 Revolucion Ave. #201 & #203. Between 5th and 6th, Tijuana, BC, Mexico 011-52-664-685-1083, 619-270-5351 or 1-800-706-5351, today. My appointment was for 11 but got there at 10. Dr. Bartell got me in and did an exam then had another dentist (Dr. Sergeio Paucias) do the cleaning because I was early and he had another patient at that time. There are three dentists in this office. They did a very good exam & cleaning for $30.00 US. There were other people in the office having some really extensive work done and seemed happy with there work.

If you're looking for a dental office, you might try these guys, I did and I'm happy with them.

oh, all three were there and the younger (William) I guess did my exam. Doesn't Guillermo = William. Shows how good my Spanish is. NOT.

A dentist that I recomend:
Dr. Raul Mendiola R. His office is in Plazza Fiesta across from Plaza Rio. (Upstairs in a blue building. Big name on the wall.) He is an Oral Surgeon, but also does general desistry. (Trained a Univ. of GDL--which is equevelant to most US medical schools, or so I've been told by a US physician.) He speaks excellent English.

Somebody I highly reccomend for root canals:
This woman specializes in root canals. She speaks a little English. She seems to have very up to date equipment and takes continuing education classes in the US. I am impressed with her. She is good and very gentle.

I recently got another root canal and crown at Dr. Bartell's. His price had gone up and it was $400 total. If you don't have insurance this is still a good price. However, it is now more than my co-pay with my insurance so I won't be going back unless circumstances change.

I have heard good reports about this guy as well from several Gringos who have gone there. Today I went back to his website and starting looking through his before and after photos of clients. One caught my attention that I couldn't help but put up this photo collage. It seems to me that while the good dentist was fixing this guys teeth, the patient was taking estrogen at the same time?

Not sure if anyone here has but they are one of the most reputable dentists in tijuana.

Straight ahead root canals are a bargain all over Tijuana and competently done. Michael Chen (Chang?) is supposed to be the best in all of Tijuana. I had twisted roots and he had the equipment and expertise to pull one off when everyone else was saying, pull it.
