I don't know Washington Dental Clinic and I my brother-in-law isn't a dentist. I use and have been happy with them Bartell Dental. William Bartell is younger (the son) and speaks better English and there is another dentist there, Sergio Paucios that cleaned my teeth last time. Sergio also speaks good English and did a good job. Cleaning $30.

I'm looking to get crowns done, although I'm not 100% sure they're still crownable. I had one dentist tell me they're still crownable over a year ago, and they haven't changed, and I had one dentist tell me that they weren't sure. I'm not fixed on Washington yet, but I like it because they give you free transportation from their office to the border. I'm still open to others if they can crown my teeth. I will also need a wisdom tooth pulled eventually (only wisdom tooth I got left), and I can't afford any oral surgeon here in the U.S.
I have thought about Bartell. But the problem is that Bartell's office takes a full week to make the crowns. Because of where I live (Bakersfield), and my job and school, I could not spend more than three days in the San Diego-Tijuana area. Washington Dental, from what I read on their ad, gets the work done within two days.

I've had 3 crowns and 3 extractions done there and have to get another crown soon (broken tooth). The work is as good or better than any I've had done in the US.

If you make arraignments ahead on the phone, you might even be able to get in first thing in the morning and have your crowns that night. It may cost extra but you would save the hotel expense and the time. They have always worked with me and fit me in when needed.
There office is only a block and a half from the bus station. I park in the "Border Station" parking lot on the US side and take the Mexicoach bus across. Parking is like about $6 or $7 for 24 hr. and the bus round trip is about $8. Faster then driving and waiting in line to get back across and faster then waiting in the pedestrian line too. Bottom line... call Bartell and talk to them and see what they can do for you.

I have used Washington once and I would not go back to them. They advertise low prices in The San Diego Reader, a rag, but when I had work done, there were additional charges. I thought I brought enough money with me but when waiting for the work to come back, I had to make a trip to an ATM to get it completed. I felt like a hostage, a bit. I also question the pharmacy right across the street for the pain and anti-bacterial prescriptions too; I am sure not the best deal in town.
Subsequently, I had to go to a US dentist to get their work corrected. Albeit, slightly. They may have changed? I went to them 5 years ago. There were friendly, happy, satisfied(?) other US Nationals in the waiting room at that time.
I hope this helps you and not too late and would check out the other dentists recommended on the Blog by Bloggers that keep going back to them. That is my intention if I need any more work done.
Time is what keeps everything from happening at once.
