Que onda mi gente!
I will be visiting baja norte my first time this December / January.
Looking for advice, tips and ideas.
I also would love to visit the wineries one day, is it possible without a car?
I have been in jail in Argentina for protesting torturers, and in PVR because the popo thought I had more money on me and were pissed when I didn't have enough to hand over. So I am not a paranoid person. But I admit being a little nervous about the TJ cops' reputation.
I lived 13 years in Chicago before moving back to my hometown St. Louis, MO last year. I live to travel and have visited several times for extended periods and know well Roma, Buenos Aires, DF and PVR. I have also been lucky enough to visit Shanghai and Israel as a consultant. I know Montreal and Ottowa and all the fun US cities.
I come to Mexico to meet real people, experience authentic life and culture and I anticipate moving to Mexico within a decade. SO I am trying to visit and learn as much as I can.
Thanks for helping me out.
