So when it rains do you guys still cross via motorcycle? Or just wear a rain suit and bring a extra set of clothes in case you get wet.
I was thinking of getting a motor cycle more for cruising around TJ and down the coast and the senorita factor. I have not rode a motorcyle since I was a teenager.
Talk about feeling lonely....

a heavy duty all weather outfit is best, the thin cheap ones rip too easily. waterprooof boots under the leg cuffs of the rain suit.
Give yourself a month or two to get comfortable with your new bike, when you get one. Emergency stops /turns and acceleration should be intuitive.

sdc- sounds like a plan will you still be single by then?
yes i still cross on my bike during the rain.
wear your rain gear and go. i noticed that tj streets are super slippery compared to the US side.
i just went down to the bufadora yesterday, and i dont think i'd want to take a ride down there after all.
the rough ride is much more brutal on a bike than in a car...

tijuana streets are more slippery, and obviously rougher. I have seen guys just fall over while going around the Glorietas. As far as rough roads, I specifically bought a XR650R, it makes even Tj seem like a smooth ride (lots of suspension travel), like an old Caddillac.
