This whole thing is very silly and approaching the ridiculous zone... but some good laughs though...
IMHO and yes, none of you have asked for it... but anyway, I think both parties were wrong to some degree and could have handled it much better. It should have been handled privately, as well, to explain and understand the pricing and blaming everyone on this Blog did not really sit well at all with most here, like antagonizing your potential customers helps business???
But I do think too that Marcelo ate the voice calls cost and basically let Glavez off cheap only to be repaid by some bitching about 90 cents or whatever because the customer doesn’t understand the normal procedure for fax pricing.
$1.50/ $1.35 or whatever is a deal for first page especially to US from Mexico and 60 cents for additional pages to same number is cheap too. Any other new phone/fax numbers are, of course, at the higher rate again for first page to cover phone call cost; standard at any Kinko’s, etc.. I also think that if you don’t have a fax phone # and get a voice, you pay for the call but then pick up maybe and ask them for their fax #; this is not brain surgery...
An apology by Galvez for starting this mess and an apology by Marcelo for blaming the whole Blog??? :? (Not holding my breath though.)
Chiquito, care to elaborate on what you were getting at with the ‘tommy’ site posts? Are you saying, it can’t be real ‘tommys’ chili? I may have to go there with the ‘tommys’ expert who started this thread but actually I am concerned more about the beef than the chili... Checked with the ‘tommy’s expert’ who has eaten there and she says it is the real stuff.
And in general, boycott the China Olympics and the China Formula One Grand Prix later this year and then you can eat Tommy burgers and fax to your hearts content (see it is related to the thread

).
Also a News Flash to me at least, never heard of it before but makes sense. On 8 or 10 News last night, US farmers not getting enough laborers on their farms are starting farms in Mexico where the labor is available and ship the produce back to US. The local gov’t. officials love it! Not sure if it expands a lot that the federal Mexican officials will tolerate it; the ‘Americanization’ of Mexico??? (What? Trying to change the subject? Me? :? )
