I do see that. One of the reasons he kept getting labeled a kook was from some of the radical 911 truthers that would scream "it was an inside job" in public, as if it were a 100% provable fact that it was an inside job. (Instead of just calmly raising questions and mentioning some of the strange things that don't add up.) The ad didn't compare to that, but it didn't help considering that many may only have heard of him from a more fanatical supporter...the pic looked angry.

Probably the comment made about him being a "loser" had to do with some of his uncouth supporters on the web. Now notice that all I did was add him to my signature. I place a personal point of view (I disagree with 15% of the platform.) now and then, but don't go proselytizing. For every uncouth supporter on the web, there are 5 that are just fine. I am not a "rontard"; it just so happens that for the first time I found a major party candidate that I could support, with this being my third prez election.

The newsletter "scandal" (He didn't write them, and what was said wasn't that horrible at all.) or anything else deeper on this would be topic for PMs or email because that can go into contentious issues.

Oh well, McCain almost definitely has the nomination. All that is left is to try to promote people in other offices and get as many of the remaining delegates as possible to influence the party rules and platform....the other big deal of the convention.

But in conclusion, I wasn't trying to really spam the board like many have done on other websites (another thing that gave him a bad image); it was just there for those curious with the choice to click on the banner to help compensate for lack of media coverage.

Yeah, my intention for the banner was a passive advertising deal not meant to force it down people's throats.

It makes me want some pulque. At the open air market (sobreruedas) in Mariano Matamors there is a guy that sells gallons of pulque for 5 dollars. From what people tell me it is about 50% watered-down from the central Mexico version, but tastes the same and is still good.

ABC just retracted it after misunderstanding a message from the campaign. Ron Paul recognizes that he has a very low chance of winning now, barring a miracle at the convention, or the state conventions that select the national delegates after the primaries.

However, he is still in it to pick up more delegates and give momentum to new people joining the party that are trying to effect a change and bring back Jeffersonian politics. Change for the sake of restoring individual liberties and property rights doesn't revolve around one leader. Its about getting involved, and one way to get people involved is encouraging people who have never participated before to join their local party meetings...etc.

He will still run his campaign, but he recognizes that McCain probably has it.

I think it is a misunderstanding of a sense of humor. I personally don't mind DrChoi. He once made a comment about gays being on TijuanaBlog that seemed a little offensive, but I now see it as satyrical. He has shown restraint, especially with the social issues of renting property. I did beat around the bush to explain what was meant. But he didn't go right out and say it to avoid the flamewars.

We all need to grow thicker skin.

pretty much telling the owners of the board to stick my big foot where sun has no chance shine...

most boards have rules but the rules i have problems with owner controlling the contant ...

this board have rules of topics one can talk about

other forums have rules where one can not criticsize the owner for how, why, he is using the board for..

some owners do not want other web site discussed on their web site..

their are few web sites relating to tj, most of these web site are moderated with heavy hands, which few guys do not agree like me..

thats why we have discretions written when joinging a board , the age, type of contand web sites contain...i prefer web sites with freedom to express one s opionion ..not too many sites offer this in truly manor..
