No but everyone was still jazzed from the Mexico win in the morning. Chants started for Mexico a few times.

I grabbed a Frontera newspaper this morning as I crossed the border. They had a article about some bars that were dinged for serving after hours and SZ was one of them.

uh??? Dinged? Confused again...

After hours bars usta' be a good thing; like in Chgo and Glasgow and ...

But that actually is very, very good advertising and free too...

You think that the Policia do not wink at bars in Zona Rio as well as Zona Norte?

There are "hours" in TJ? What are the laws? I never heard of any. In Chgo, you had to close for at least an hour a day...; don't expect it to be very much different here.

I was in here for happy hour both on Saturday and Sunday as per usual.

Saturday had the ribeye once again excellent at 199 pesos.

Sunday I tried a Filete with 5 Pimientas, it came with french fries. I did not like this piece of meat beause of the sauce they put on top of it. It had peppercorns in the sauce which I can not stand. The fries were great as usual. For me this will be the last time I order this entree. Cost was 169 pesos. The ribeye is a steal at 30 peosos mas cool.gif

They have a poster on the wall that says this place has WIFI but I tried 3 different weekends when I was watching the world cup to log on but I could never get connected. So the poster lies.

I just noticied a sign that said Tuesday night is ladies night from 8pm to 2am. I will need to check this out.
