And ‘tommy’ has moved into your hood; guess you love them, the stars are aligned now in your favor or what ever... Maybe it’s the absence of a b.....?

Never heard of ‘tommy burgers’ before, but they do sound good. Any beef taste or just chili?

This ‘tommy’ guy is not that Hilfiger guy, is he? I ain’t buying! Tommy Lasorda? At least, he has a gourmet gut...

My best fast food was JackBox Swiss, Bacon, sourdough; Now they have a sourdough bacon, which ain’t bad; always pick up two when in SD. In and Out is good too but never really got into them much.

Best burgers ever! Well two, the Bleu cheese one at the Bull & Finch, Finch &Bottle or whatever in Boston (Cheers bar!) and the cheddar burger at Butch McGuire’s on Division in Chicago. Try either at home.

Butch's also had $1 Bloody Marys and Eggs Benedict too on Sunday mornings. It was great for a growing, starving college kid and then in afternoon other bars would have 5 cent hot dogs and 10 cent burgers; Chicago law that you can not give away food in a bar; go figure...

Maybe bring some of them 'tommy' burgers if there is another bloggers meeting and sell them off.

OH! Almost forgot. I suggest you post some of those chalk Deever sidewalk drawings on the blog; they were really cool! Better than that spray can stuff, IMHO. I tried forwarding them but Hotmail said too many attachments, so I deleted your email but would not mind a few back.

My name is Marcelo and with my wife Rita are the proud owners of a neat place called Marrit Playas Cafeteria & Internet, its located at the #208 of avenida Pacifico, between the arches of the Malecon and the Gok Theater, we are open 7 days a week and our business hours are 10 am till 11 pm.
We have high speed Internet conection (2.4Mb band width) and have 10 PCs with operating systems in english as a courtesy to our visitors and residents of english langauage.
Our cafeteria serves breakfast (simple and a la carte), and have exquisite "Tortas" (mexican bread sandwiches), enormous burritos and now we are offering the already famous "Tommy Burgers" we bring the chilicon carne straight from "Tommy's" in Clairemont Mesa in San Diego every other day to keep it fresh and yummy, you really gotta try our chi cheese burgers, chili cheese fries and our jumbo size chili cheese dogs.
We also serve fresh brewed coffee, cold drinks and delicious Banana, strawberry and chocolate milk shakes called "Licuados" and fresh orange and carrot juice.
Come visit us and get to know our place, also if you need copies and need to send/receive faxes any place in the owrld or if you need you own PC or Laptop computer formatted, we are the place or just to have your PC serviced, we can due it anytime at all.

What connection do you use to get 2.4 MB BW in Playas? That's assumedly shared among all the computers.

I have Cablemas as my internet provider, soon I will be going to 3Mb or even 4Mb bandwidth, I would have to raise the hourly rates but I guess people that know how to handle a PC would not mind since it would be to their advantage to have a fast connection, we'll see... :idea:

Hey Marcelo, my wife went today to get some stuff faxed...I thought u said it was 1.50 or so for the first and 60 cents or so for the rest...she said u charged her full price for each! 2 faxes cost her more than $3!!! My wife was disapointed and she says shes never going there again...for faxes that is! As for the food, well, we haven't tried it yet...

U know what Marcelo, I was trying to be nice...I was trying to comment on ur biz, I was trying to help u out FOR GODS SAKES!!!

My dad owns a biz in TJ and I help him as much as I can so I have an idea of how it is...by you responding this way tells me many things:

1. You don't care about ur customers

2. It's not about the money we spent buddy...it's about what the advertiser tells us and obviously u miss represent ur biz

3. I would understand if u would reply with a simple "Ur right customer...u spend some money here so next time I'll do better"...

4. It is YOU who advertised ur biz here!!! Understand this!!! You offered your products and one aproached them!!! I even gladly sent u an email asking for ur menu and u have the balls to reply like this!?!? What's wrong with you?!

I feel very sad that u dishonered ur biz like u did...u gotta understand that whatever we post on this website will live for quite a while...we all have friends, brothers, sisters, grandpas...all will know what u replied...

Marcelo,

I don't see his comments as bashing you just pointing out a small discrepancy between what you said and what you did. You should have qualified the above statement with "TO THE SAME FAX NUMBER" or at least explained the discrepancy when you charged her. Your own outburst was bashing yourself for your attitude more than anyone else could have done.

This blog isn't intended for your advertising. While it may be tolerated if useful, it surely won't be missed. This place if more for peer to peer helping and sharing of knowledge and experiences. Simple self-serving advertising doesn't fit into that.

Wow... what a disproportionate response to a simple complaint...

If that's how he responds to all customers, I don't think he'll be in business very long.

He really disrespected galvezis' wife by saying "...AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A GENIUS TO FIGUER SOMETHING LIKE THAT..." IMO.

I can't believe people with such thin skins and no concept of customer service or satisfaction go into the customer service business... mind boggling.


Marcelo... you could have been much more diplomatic by just saying that you didn't explain your pricing completely or that there was a small misunderstanding... I think that would have solved it... now you look foolish and I doubt you'll get any business from our forum members. New businesses need all the help they can get... just a bit of advice.
