the site was started a few months ago as a side project.
I wanted to have an interactive forum on TJ so everyone can participate and add thier opinions and thoughts on Tijuana culture and events.
it is still a work in progress
Feel free to start new threads
thanks

Guys I am behind on returning emails and will get to them as time allows. The site has taken on a life of its own and I am very happy with the amount of registered users and contributers

Unless you are combatting some specific problem, I would respectfully suggest not making registration required for Reading.

On the main page of this site, there is a link to the Blogs section in the silver bar across the top. It looks like any registered member can start a blog here.

The guest posting is now disabled. In order to psot you must be a registered user.
I have now added a games section in case you are bored at work. It is fun and you can challenge other users to high score contests.
I will add new games ever other week or so and may disable games that no one is playing.
I still have a lot of work to do on the site!
Thanks again for all your support

Been trying to make an effort to work on my blog every few days or so.
Still learning PHP and C panel so I do not have to depend on lazy webmasters for help
I am still debating on putting video on the site as that will raise my hosting costs quite a bit.
Here is a small bit about mpeg4 from Apple
-----------------------------
"MPEG-4 is designed to deliver DVD-quality video (MPEG-2) at lower data rates and smaller file sizes. And the same folks who created the popular .mp3 file format — a.k.a. MPEG-1 layer III — developed the new Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) codec, providing much more efficient compression than MP3 with a quality rivaling that of uncompressed CD audio.
MPEG-4 is ready to stream incredible-quality audio and video today in QuickTime. With the free QuickTime Player or browser plug-in, you can play back any compliant MPEG-4 file. Upgrade to QuickTime Pro, and you can author your own MPEG-4 content. QuickTime Streaming Server and Darwin Streaming Server are also available to stream .mp4 files. And with QuickTime Broadcaster, you can produce live events in MPEG-4, making the QuickTime workflow (Broadcaster to Server to Player) the industry’s best and most cost-effective end-to-end, standards-based architecture."
------------------
I am gonna speak with my hosting company today after he does his homework for high school
Will see how much the video bandwith will run me every month.
Any suggestions please let me know
thanks and have a great week

Sorry but I had to take care of some work issues and expect to start working on the site again next week. The problem I have is I get involved with mutiple projects and nothing gets done
I am hoping to design the homepage of the site soon and will be taking multiple photos for that this week as well. Again feel free to give your input. Your take is valuable to me in designing the site.
Free sites are great

Number one problem I run into is people having trouble getting thier confirmation email sent to them. Most of the time they find it in thier spam folders, so please check their.
Please remember not to flame anyone on the site or talk about the Red Zone. Both are against site rules
thanks and have fun in TJ

Also my good friend EF has updated our Blog software. Now you can add very cool backgrounds to your blogs to make them look more attractive.
Log into the Blog Control panel located on the top left hand corner on the site.
Also remember no flaming and no talk about the Redlight district. We are keeping this a clean site.
