This place is that big Yellow Resturant across from Baby Rock on Paseo de los Heroes.

I personally have never been here before but have planned to go many times. My friends have been multiple times and like the relaxed atmosphere and the 2x1 drinks... Food I have heard is pretty good...and it is a good place to take a group of people to.

Think Sandra and I stopped in there when we were apt. hunting. Same side of Heroes as Baby? I would not call it big tho; one floor; family style place; noticed 3 generations having lunch in afternoon and some younger groups as well.

We stopped to have a beer and make phone calls but I noted it was a place to remember to go back to.

Indeed, good food, 2x1 drinks on anything, that includes the expensive stuff (JW green/gold/blue, greygoose, etc..)and drinks aren't that that expensive either.

Food is pretty good smile.gif

Noisy, NOISY, NOISY!!!! Great place to met a large group of friends and drink. They have a great deal for about $700MN that includes a habachi of meats, onions, beans and a bottle of Tequila. But there are Mariachi bands playing next to Nortena bands, playing next to Banda music. This to much and two loud to have conversations. Still it is a "happening" place.
Living with one foot one each on side of the border.

Thanks!!! Is it always noisy? Maybe there's a time of day to go to avoid all the noise?

It is usually noisy because it is a huge open resturant with cement walls there is a lot of echo. It is good for groups....Or when you are with someone you don't want to talk to.

It's usually pretty quiet in there before happy hour (4 p.m.). The cuisine is pretty much the same as when it was Guadalajara Grill. Good carnes.

Good value been here twice during happy hour. The food is great and service is fast. I didn't notice how loud it was.

Cantina de Los Remedios used to be very loud when I lived in Tijuana. We would go out there in a group to have some fun but it was hard to hear everybody.

Maybe when in an argument with a significant other...

Sometimes us girls are with guys that dont have very much to say and when at a noisy bar or club you dont worry too much about it.

I was there not too long ago. It's a cool place. Like those old post say, it's not a good place for conversation, but it wasn't too bad. I'd go back.
