Getting work in Tijuana will not be easy.

But the reality really is that you will have to face that daily crossing if not independently wealthy. Why do you think the locals here go to the US to get money???
My neighbor has even suggested she and I get married so she can continue crossing and working in the US. Anyone know anything about that?

You can easily live in Tijuana with $700-$1,000 a month if you are single .
Whats the average salary of a MIddle class family in Tijuana,Working class?

Apartments are cheaper, cars are not cheaper, gasoline is now more expensive.
Working class.. I'd say $1,200 per month. They're the ones driving around in Nissan Platinas.

It is OBVIOUS that you have never seen a Citroen 2CV...........
Got a dictionary? Look up ugly. It's pictured there.
Ever follow one on a road in France? And kept watching for it to fall over in 90 degree turns? The three wheel bolts on a tin plate are not that reassuring either...

At one time I actually contemplated buying one and painting it with daiseys ala Peter Max as a joke.
What does that other car you spoke of look like?

It is actually an older model Renault Clio that was sold in Europe. Nissan rebadged it as "Platina" and it's sold all over Mexico and, apparently, the Caribbean.
As pointed out by Miggiesmallz, it is as ass-ugly car.

The ones unavailable in the US because they don't pass safety tests.

$1,200 Per month must include more than 3 salary workers from a factory(Maquilladora)?
Food is a little cheaper than the USA.

I thought it was roughly $1,000 to $1,200 per month for working in the maquiladoras.
Food - orange juice, milk, and Coke was more expensive in Tijuana in both Calimax and Costco. Tortillas are cheaper for sure, but my basic dietary requirements consist of Coke and Big Macs which cost more in Tijuana.

I read that the average factory worker in Tijuana earns around$80-$100 per week.
Well i don't drink cokes and hardly big macs.I like to watch my diet, alot of fruits, vegetables etc
